Washington, Nov.1 US Secretary of State Hillary Clinton's tough talk over Pakistan's 'ambivalence' over taking the fight to the enemy, and her 'disbelief' over its lack of knowledge over Al-Qaeda operatives whereabouts, during her three-day Pakistan visit to the country, has been ignored by her own department.

The State department's official assessment of the three-day visit has no mention of Clinton's angry remarks during a roundtable conference with some of the leading Pakistani journalists in Lahore.

The report, rather, highlighted that Clinton, during her visit, stressed that the Obama Administration wants to build a broad and deep relationship with Islamabad.

It said that the top US Diplomat wanted relationship with Pakistan to be based on 'mutual trust and respect.'

The State Department also noted that on the first day of her visit, Clinton announced a number of major contributions to Pakistan amounting to over 350 million dollars.

"She underscored American support for humanitarian and livelihood assistance, education, media and communications for people living in these areas of conflict," The Dawn quoted the US State Department report, as saying.

During her three-day visit, which ended on Friday, Clinton also met the top political and military leadership of the country ncluding the Chief of the Army Staff General Ashfaq Parvez Kayani and Director General of the Inter-Services Intelligence ISI) Lieutenant General Ahmad Shuja Pasha and discussed about the on-doing military offensive against the Taliban in South aziristan.
