Washington, Jul 2 Late King of Pop Michael Jackson had reportedly planned to take up a six-month residency in Las Vegas in 2010, after the completion of his 'This Is It' comeback tour in London.

Jacko had been booked to play 50 dates at London's O2 Arena from this month until February next year, his first public concerts since 2002.

And he had been lining up a massive six-month stay in Sin City, which would have earned him a stunning 100 million dollars.

"Jackson's advisers were in talks with two hoteliers in Las Vegas to create a six-month show for the pop star, starting soon after his London dates finished in early 2010, which would fetch him, I was told, up to 100 million dollars," Contactmusic quoted investigative journalist Gerald Posner as having written on DailyBeast.com.

"Jackson, according to one close adviser, resented the pressure to start performing to pay past bills and avoid losing his music catalogue," he added. (ANI)
