Washington, Sep 2 (ANI): Hollywood filmmaker Guy Ritchie has dismissed reports that Hollywood actor Russell Crowe is set to play Dr. Watson in his remake of classic 'Sherlock Holmes'. The husband of pop star Madonna has clearly stated that he has neither approached nor signed the 'Gladiator' actor to play Dr. Watson in his flick. "I don't have a Watson," Contactmusic quoted Guy Ritchie, as saying. "Somebody just told me that I have Russell Crowe lined up but that's news to me, I suspect that hasn't happened and I'm still looking for my Watson," he added. The upcoming flick will feature Hollywood actor Robert Downey Junior in the lead role of Sherlock Holmes and Ritchie insists that traditional aspects of Holmes will remain, especially in terms of location. "We've got what I'd like to think are some of the best locations in London and with this film I get to show a whole new side to London," he said. Ritchie's action-packed take is due to begin filming next month. (ANI)
