London, October 2 Business jargon like 'stagflation', 'ninja loans', and 'funt' have made it to a list of 100 new words and phrases which capture modern life.

Stagflation is term used to signify stagnant growth and rising inflation, while funt means the financially untouchable.

The term Ninja loans comes from the abbreviation of No Income, No Job, No Assets.

Dictionary expert Susie Dent has revealed that words like jingle mail, which means sending back the keys to the mortgage company when the occupants can no longer make payments on their house, have also made it to the list.

Her Words of the Year book also includes phrases that describe various other aspects of modern life.

One such word is nomophobia, which means the fear of being out of mobile phone contact.

She has also included in the book the term nonebrity, used for a person who enjoys status without anyone really understanding why.

Social networking, meaning using websites like Facebook, is another word included in her book.

The book further states that the term 'boytox' is used to describe cosmetic surgery for men, while 'momnesia' is used for "a pattern of mental confusion and forgetfulness that characterises a mother's first year after giving birth."

"Some are new words which have come into use and others are established terms which have been resurrected," the Telegraph quoted Dent as saying.

The list even include the term a YouTube divorce, which is an acrimonious marriage break-up where a spouse airs their former partner's dirty laundry on the video-sharing website.

Dent said that the new words gave the English language more power.

"You may hate momnesia and nomophobia but few of us could deny that when we first heard them, we weren't just that little bit curious," she said. (ANI)
