London, May 03 (ANI): Recording for the new 007 theme between Amy Winehouse and Mark Ronson has come to a stop.

Ronson, Winehouse's producer pal, decided to stop studio sessions after becoming infuriated by the singer's erratic behaviour.

The decision to abandon the project for the title track to the forthcoming James Bond movie Quantum of Solace is said to have caused a gap between the two close friends. "We did work on it but we never finished it. I don't think it will happen unless by some miracle it gets recorded and someone sings on it. I'm not sure Amy is ready to work on music yet," the Sun quoted 32-year-old Mark as saying.

Work on the project began at Mark's studio in Henley, Oxfordshire, April 08, but their sessions soon began to get worse, with Winehouse upset that Ronson had spoken publicly about their problems.

Her friends fear that the rift will have long-term consequences for the troubled 24-year-old, as Ronson has been a key figure in her career, masterminding her second album Back To Black.

"Mark has always had a really good influence on Amy. He brought out the best in her and cared for her on a personal level," a pal of hers said.

"On a professional level he seems to be the only person who can get her into the studio. Without him encouraging her we're worried," her pal added.

A spokesman for Winehouse said that the disagreement ensued because of difference of ideas.

"Mark presented a track to Amy, but she had other ideas about the direction it should take. We're sure they will continue to make great music together," her spokesman said. (ANI)
