London, March 4 (IANS) Actress Vera Farmiga says she needed the money so badly that she started filming for 'Up In The Air' only two weeks after welcoming son Fynn.
'I could never reclaim these first precious moments of maternity, but I needed to pay my mortgage. It wasn't an option. I had to do the role,' dailystar.co.uk quoted Farmiga as saying.
The role has landed Farmiga a best supporting actress Oscar nomination but she admits she contemplated quitting Hollywood during the stressful pregnancy.
'We met (with movie executives) when I was four months pregnant, six months pregnant, eight months pregnant. The studio was panicking. I felt that. And it destroyed me. I wanted to walk away from this career. I felt incredibly insecure,' she said.
