Indira Gandhi Paryavaran Puraskar to to Rachna Gaur

On the occasion of 'World Environment Day' on Friday 5th June, President of India Smt. Pratibha Patil will honor renowned socialist Dr. Rachna Tailang (Gaur) of Rajasthan with 'Indira Gandhi Paryavaran Puraskar-2007' in a function to be organized in Vigyan Bhawan, New Delhi.
Dr. Rachna is a renowned personality from Rajsamand District of Rajasthan. She has done a great job of bringing back to life dried-up Rajsamand Lake. She has a good name in the fields of social-studies, social-work and music also.
She has penned down the works done by her for the restoration of Rajsamand Lake in the book, "Rajsamand Lake an Initiative".
