Gilani not being replaced, says Malik

Islamabad, Dec.4 Pakistan Prime Minister Yousuf Raza Gilani's Adviser on Interior Affairs, Rehman Malik, has scotched rumors that plans are afoot to remove Gilani.

"Some frustrated and anti-democracy elements are creating unrest," the Daily Times quoted Malik, as saying.

Talking to reporters at the Parliament House, he said: "We are all united and working as a team to pull the country out of the prevailing crisis." (ANI)
