London, Dec 4 Hollywood actor Johnny Depp is all set to make a flick based on the book 'In The Hand Of Dante', which tells the story of an author, who is charged with proving the authenticity of a stolen manuscript of Dante's work. The flick will show the journey of an author around the world - in DaVinci code style - in a bid to prove the authenticity of the manuscript. The 'Private Resort' actor has not only bought the rights to the flick via his production company Infinitum Nihil, he will also adapt, produce and act in the flick. The book, written by Nick Tosches, also jumps back in time to show Dante trying to finish the epic poem. It has been reported that Depp will be seen portraying the role of the author not Dante, reports The Telegraph. (ANI)
