CM call for prompt action to fullfil people's aspiration

She said that the District Collectors should supervise government offices as per the norms in their districts and ensure strict compliance of the directions relating to regular touring and night stays in villages.

Jaipur, January 7. The Chief Minister, Smt. Vasundhara Raje has emphasised the need for prompt and vigilant administration network for fulfilling aspirations of the people, keeping in view the challenges emerging due to the rapid changes in the socio-economic scenario in the present time. She said that the citizens of today expects quality service and proper facilities and the government machinery had to help and facilitate in providing better means of livelihood to them.

Smt. Raje was addressing the inaugural session of the Collector's Conference in CMO at Secretariat here on Monday. She said that the District Collectors should supervise government offices as per the norms in their districts and ensure strict compliance of the directions relating to regular touring and night stays in villages. She directed the Chief Secretary to look at the cases where the revenue matters had not been disposed off in stipulated time or cases like where the district collectors do not preside over the meeting of district vigilance committees and also see that whether adverse comments could be made in the annual confidential report of such Districts Collectors and Superintendent of Police.

The Chief Minister also directed that speedy disposal of the problems relating to providing drinking water to people, adequate supply of power, distribution of food material to B.P.L. and A.P.L. families under the public distribution system, mid-day-meal and the attendance of teachers and students be ensured in schools. She also directed that regular meetings of public grievances disposals committees be held and problems of people be solved.

Smt. Raje also directed that time bound implementation of rural development schemes, relief to maximum number of people through revenue campaigns, sensitiveness towards solving the pending cases in revenue courts, successful implementation of 5 point programme of the Chief Minister's for women empowerment and preparing the list on stipulated date after disposing off the objections received in case of survey of B.P.L. families be ensured.

The Chief Minister also directed that speedy action be taken on the agreements signed in regard to investment proposals of Rs.1.62 lakhs crores during the Resurgent Rajasthan-Partnership Summit. She said that the cases relating to allotment of land for education, medical and hotels should be given highest priority so that the development scenario of Rajasthan under goes a transformation.

She said that the National Rural Employment Guarantee Programme (NREGP) was being started in the all the districts from 1st April, 2008 and so the District Collectors should prepare schemes and programmes in this regard. She said that the Government of India had also praised the successful implementation of the NREGP in Rajasthan and we had to implement it with same will power in future also.

The Chief Minister also emphasised the need to act promptly in according sanction to the development works under the MP and MLA led schemes. She highlighted the need for adequate promotion to public-private participation in mid-day-meal scheme in the state. Outlining the responsibility of the government in providing primary education, she said that better work had been done in the direction of providing education of English subject, recruitment of teachers, upgradation of schools and training.

Referring to the 5 point programme for women empowerment, Smt. Raje stressed the need for adequate promotion to self-help groups, making available loans to them through banks and organizing haat-baazar in all districts once in a week for sale of their products. She also directed that efforts be made to complete the targets under the Janani Suraksha Yojana and promotion be given to institutional deliveries. The Chief Minister also directed that prompt efforts be made to ensure implementation of drinking water schemes so that potable water could be provided to the people in a water scarce state.

The Chief Minister said that the tangible results of the feeder reforms programme had also started emerging. She said that the villagers where the leakage of power had been reduced by 20 percent, were being provided electricity for 24 hours. She said that the District Collectors should review this programme in their districts and also supervise the supply of power in villages.

Smt.Raje also emphasised the need for disposal of the cases relating to agriculture and horticulture along with the successful implementation of the schemes and programmes associated with them. She directed that sanction of water harvesting structures under the National Horticulture Mission be accorded on time.

The Chief Secretary Shri D.C. Samant invited the district collectors to give their presentations in regard to the initiatives made in power, water, medical, education, preparation of revenue campaign, problems related to their districts and the efforts made for their disposal and  the action taken in regard to Resurgent Rajasthan-Parternership Summit. The Additional Chief Secretary Shri A.K. Pandey outlined the objectives of the collector's conference.

The Members of the State Cabinet, Parliamentary Secretaries and the Principal Secretaries & Secretaries of different departments were present on the occasion.

It is not believable that without the knoweldge and involvement of government officers (namely DTO Dinesh K Sagar Distt.Jhunjhunu) such a nexus going on for many years as the bus nos. RJ 18 PA 0808, RJ 18 PA 0858, RJ 18 PA 1017 AND RJ 18 PA 1332 are running from rajasthan to delhi via narnaul and rewari without the valid permit and without the valid route and incurring huge losses to government.

These buses travels from jhunjhunu(Rajasthan) to Delhi (Dhaula Kuan) via chirawa,singhana,narnaul,rewari on a permit of 2 buses 4 buses are running and not from the route allotted, incurring huge losses to government department.Request you to please do the needful before any mishappening or this scandal comes in the light of media.

Moreover, after so many challans these buses still running illegaly.
