New Delhi, Aug 6 (ANI): India today said that the reported resolution on the situation in Jammu and Kashmir in Pakistan senate amounts to gross interference in our internal affairs.

Ministry of External Affairs on Thursday issued a statement, which says that reported resolution on the situation in J-K in Pakistan senate amounts to gross interference in our internal affairs. The Senate should attend to issues where it has a locus standi.

Leading Pakistani newspaper the Daily Times reports that Pakistani Senate onednesday unanimously passed three resolutions, including one expressing concerns over attacks on Muslims and their properties by Hindus in Jammu and Kashmir.

The resolution moved by Leader of Opposition in Senate Kamil Ali Agha regretted the recent reports of economic blockade imposed by Hindu extremists against the Muslims of J-K.

The resolution is not likely to do good for the cause of Indo-Pak relations, which have already entered the choppy weather after the recent incidents of ceasefire violation and bombing of Indian Embassy in Kabul.

Jammu and Kashmir is reeling under massive protests and agitation for more than a month now. The row was sparked off when the State government allotted land to Shri Amarnath Shrine Board, and later the decision was revoked due to massive protests in the Valley. y Naveen Kapoor (ANI)
