Mumbai, Aug. 7 Pakistani terrorist Ajmal Amir Kasab, the lone surviving terrorist involved in the terror 26/11 Mumbai attacks, on Friday told a court in Mumbai that he wanted to plead guilty to all the charges which are framed against him.

"Main sab kabool karna chahta hoon (I want to plead guilty to all charges)," Kasab told the judge.

Kasab made the plea when the court was examining a ballistic expert as witness in the case.

A shocked judge enquired whether about his sudden confession and asked if somebody contacted him on the issue.

"Achanak kya hua? Aise kyun kar rahe ho? (What happened suddenly? Why are you doing this?). Has anybody explained what are the charges against you? Earlier you had not accepted all, but some of the charges," said judge M L Tahaliyani.

Further, judge Tahaliyani told Kasab to discuss his plea with his lawyer and inform the court.

Earlier on July 20, Kasab had pleaded guilty of being involved in the terrorist attack which claimed nearly 180 lives and maimed over 300. But, he had accepted only some of the charges.

The court had accepted his partial "admission of guilt" and decided to continue with the trial. (ANI)
