Washington, Oct 7 Hollywood actor Tom Cruise became a real life hero when he came to the rescue of a stumbling shutterbug. The 'Vanilla Sky' star spotted the New York photographer falling as he snapped away at the superstar, and he stepped in to help the man to his feet, according to TMZ. com. Cruise has always credited his kind-hearted gestures to his faith in Scientology. "Being a Scientologist, when you drive past an accident, it's not like anyone else, it's, you drive past, you know you have to do something about it. You know you are the only one who can really help. That's what drives me," Contactmusic quoted Tom, as saying. The 46-year-old actor was on his way to restaurant with wife Katie, when he helped the photographer in West village. (ANI)
