Letterman's gal carried on steamy affair even after moving in with beau

New York, October 7 Stephanie Birkitt reportedly continued a steamy affair with her boss David Letterman even after moving in with her CBS-producer boyfriend.

The former "Late Show" staffer allegedly revealed in her diary that she and the comedian continued having sexual relations while her beau Robert "Joe" Halderman, stayed home in Connecticut.

The 34-year-old and Letterman purportedly went on romantic hikes at the star's massive Montana ranch, with Birkitt insisting to Halderman that she and the 62-year-old Letterman just had "a platonic relationship," reports the New York Post.

Enraged Halderman hit the roof when he read Birkitt's diary in December and learnt about the affair, according to sources.

He is named in a 2-million-dollar extortion plot for allegedly trying to blackmail Letterman over the relationship. (ANI)
