Washington, Jan 08 Hollywood actor Patrick Swayze, who is battling pancreatic cancer, has credited the pain he goes through for helping him attain an edge in his acting. After Patrick was detected with an untreatable pancreatic cancer early last year (08), he found that his illness provided him an inner rage, which was required for the tense cop drama he was acting in. The 'Ghost' actor seems to be a dedicated actor, as he revealed that he refused all painkillers while he was working - because he didn't want to dull his senses. Thus he acted through the pain. "When you're shooting you can't do drugs. I can't do Hydrocodone or Vicodin or these kinds of things that take the edge off of it, 'cause it takes the edge off of your brain," Contactmusic quoted Patrick, as saying. (ANI)
