Melbourne, Sep.8 Former Australian leg-spinner Shane Warne paid 3.35 million dollars for a property where he intends to seal his rekindled romance with ex-wife Simone Callahan.

The couple, who have revived their rollercoaster love affair late last year, are set to begin work on a giant Melbourne mansion.

Warne is expected to bulldoze the existing four-bedroom home to make way for the opulent new family home, complete with underground car park, pool and home cinema.

Warne and Callahan are yet to publicly comment on their reunion.

They divorced several years ago, then got back together, before splitting again and finally reigniting their love affair in December.

Callahan and the couple's three children, Brooke, Jackson and Summer, have moved into Warne's current eco-friendly Melbourne property.

Callahan and their children accompanied the retired spin king when he competed in the World Series of Poker tournament in Las Vegas in July. The happy family then jetted to London for a brief holiday.

Last week, they were seen sharing a joke as they cruised around Brighton in Warne's head-turning black Lamborghini Superleggera.

Warne will celebrate his 40th birthday with a host of high-profile mates, including Eddie McGuire, Aaron Hamill and Jeff Fenech on Friday night at a bar in Chapel St.

Another motivating factor for Warne's latest renovation is the need for a bigger, more luxurious abode to entertain his growing list of wealthy Indian business partners. (ANI)
