Governor, CM Extends Deepawali Greetings

In his message, the Governor said that the festival of Deepawali was a symbol of our social, cultural & religious harmony.
Jaipur, November 8. The Governor Shri S.K.Singh & the Chief Minister Smt. Vasundhara Raje, while extending hearty greetings and good wishes on the occasion of Deepawali the festival of lights, have wished the prosperous and happy life to the people of the state.
In his message, the Governor said that the festival of Deepawali was a symbol of our social, cultural & religious harmony. He called upon the people of the state to take a resolve for the prosperity of all sections of society and play an active and constructive role in the alround development of the state.
Smt.Raje said in her message that this festival was a symbol of victory of light over darkness and had always inspired the people from times immemorial. She said that this festival had preserved our cultural heritage and glorious traditions. It also reflects our social unity & harmony, she observed. She appealed to the people of the state to give valuable contribution in leading the state on the path towards development alongwith maintaining peace, love and brotherhood.
Speaker Vidhan Sabha
The Speaker of the Vidhan Sabha, Smt. Sumitra Singh has also extended hearty greetings to the people of the state on Deepawali and wished that this festival would bring prosperity, new vigour & enthusiasm in their life.
The Forest & Environment Minister Shri Laxmi Narain Dave, The Rural Development & Panchayati Raj Minister Shri Kalu Lal Gurjar and the Incharge Information & Public Relations and the Parliamentary Secretary Shri Bhawani Singh Rajawat have also extended hearty greetings and good wishes to the people of the state on the occasion of Deepawali.
