Islamabad, Nov.8 Pakistan would roll out its first indigenous JF-17 Thunder fighter aircraft from the Kamra Aeronautical Centre by the end of this month, Chief of Air Staff (CAS), Air Chief Marshal Rao Qamar Suleman, has said. Air Chief Marshal Suleman, who is currently in Beijing to attend the 60th anniversary of China's People's Liberation Army Air Force (PLAAF), said the roll out of the state-of-art combat aircraft would help enhance the Pakistan's relationship with China. Pakistan has been working on the project in collaboration with China over a long period of time. "This will start a new era in Pak-China relationship, and aviation industry. Both China as well as PAF are attaching lot of importance to this project," The News quoted Suleman, as saying. He said that JF-17 would help the PAF to replace the existing fleet F-7's, A-5's and the ageing range of Mirage aircrafts. (ANI)
