Jammu, May 9 (ANI): The death toll in bus accident in Kishtwar District of Jammu and Kashmir has risen to 35 with five others sustaining injuries.

Out of these 35 bodies, 30 have been identified so far. The bodies have since been handed over to their families.

In order to ensure that no dead bodies remain in the river, the Naval divers were also called. However, they did not rule out the possibility of some passengers having been swept away in the strong currents of the river.

On Thursday, the Kishtwar-bound bus skidded off the road and fell into the river at Kandni-Phagumarh area. (ANI)
