Daler Mehndi meets Pak President Zardari

Islamabad, Oct 9 Famous Punjabi singer Daler Mehndi met Pakistan President Asif Ali Zardari here last evening, and presented him the ownership rights of one of his albums.

During the meeting, the President said that there were centuries-old cultural relations between the people of India and Pakistan, and that there was a need to jointly develop tourism infrastructure and expand cultural ties between the two countries, reported the Daily Times.

Zardari added that more travel and tourism will certainly help in this direction.

Daler Mehdi thanked the President and the people of Pakistan for their love and said that cultural relations between India and Pakistan must be ?strengthened?. (ANI)
