J.Lo's rep says 'nervous breakdown' admissions reported out of context

New York, Oct 9 American actress Jennifer Lopez's representatives have thrashed the Kevin Sessums interview as being portrayed in the wrong light.

The interview, slated to appear in Elle magazine, was dropped because it was too personal, and later picked up by Tina Brown's new Web site, The Daily Beast.

Elle's article had focused on Lopez as a fashion icon, but Sessums' description of Lopez made her out to otherwise.

"Her unwashed hair is pulled severely back and there's a halo of frizz around the crown of her head," the New York Post had quoted Sessums as stating.

In the interview Sessums had talked about her having "a kind of nervous breakdown", and even touched on Scientology.

A representative for Lopez commented on Sessums' interview, which appeared on The Daily Beast, as not being true.

"We're very unhappy about it, and think it was poor judgment on his part. As long as we have represented Jennifer, we have never heard her refer to having a breakdown of any sort," the rep stated. (ANI)
