Melbourne, November 9 Britney Spears is "extremely upset" with the allegations that her onstage lip-synching drove enraged Aussie fans to storm out of her concert.
Tour promoter Paul Dainty said the pop princess was traumatised following the media coverage over her performance in Perth on November 6 as part of her Circus tour in the country.
"Britney is aware of all this and she's extremely upset by it," News.com.au quoted Dainty as telling The Australian.
"She's a human being. I'm embarrassed, with such a big international entourage here with Britney, to be part of the Australian media when I see that kind of totally inaccurate reporting," he added.
The singer was reported to have left fans disgruntled, some of whom splashed up to 1500 dollars to see the star, as she preferred to mime and concentrate on theatrics and dancing during the live performance.
Dainty said: "It's the biggest lie I've ever heard. I'm so angry. We can take heat if there's something wrong and people can review shows badly-that's something you have to live with-but to say people stormed out of the show was an absolute fabrication."
Britney is due to perform in Melbourne November 11, 12, and 13 before wrapping up the 14-concert Australian tour in Adelaide on November 29. (ANI)
