New York, June 10 (ANI): Actor Robert Downey Jr. has thanked fast food giant Burger King for helping him overcome his drug addiction problems.

The actor also revealed to Britain's Empire magazine how the epiphany happened in 2003 when while driving a car piled with "tons of f---ing dope," he decided to stop for a burger, reports the New York Daily News.

"I have to thank Burger King," he told the mag.

"It was such a disgusting burger I ordered. I had that, and this big soda, and I thought something really bad was going to happen."

That's when he decided to dump all of his drugs into the ocean, deciding at that moment itself to kick the habit. (ANI)
