Washington, Jan 12 American actress Glenn Close has revealed that the character she plays in TV series "Damages" was very scary, and that should she herself meet someone with the kind of personality she too would have been scared.

Close, who plays Patty Hewes, an attorney who delights in taking down powerful opponents and eviscerates anyone who gets in her way, revealed in an interview that the character was scary.

"Yeah," CBC News quoted her as saying.

"And it's kind of starting to disturb me that people seem to like it when I'm scary!" she said.

When asked if doing the part came naturally to her, she said that she herself had at first been intimidated by the character.

"It doesn't come naturally," she said.

"Patty was a character that I myself was intimidated by when I first read the script - because if I met her in real life, you know she's much smarter than I am," she added. (ANI)
