London, Oct 12 English musician Sting has finally given up on ever trying for a career on the big screen, as he finds it to be "too much hard work".

Sting, whose real name is Gordon Matthew Thomas Sumner, had on a number of occasions tried his hand at acting, but he has now given it up.

The lead singer for the band Police has appeared in movies including 1985's The Bride and 1998's Lock, Stock, and Two Smoking Barrels, as well as a handful of TV shows.

His wife Trudie Styler has been able to establish herself as an actress and producer, but Sting has admitted that the profession isn't for him when asked if he would ever consider acting again.

"No way, I'll leave it to my woman. Its too much hard work," the Daily Express quoted him as saying. (ANI)
