Riyadh, Feb 13 (DPA) Somali Sports Minister Saleban Olad Roble has died in hospital in Riyadh, more than two months after he was injured in a suicide bombing in Mogadishu, a source at the Somali Embassy in the Saudi Arabian capital said Saturday.

The minister passed away Friday night following an operation on his neck.

Some 23 people were killed, including three other ministers, in the Dec 3 bombing.

After the attack, Roble was taken to Kenya for treatment, but was transferred to Saudi Arabia later along with 20 other victims.
