Chennai, March 13 (IANS) Congress president Sonia Gandhi Saturday visited Satyamurthy Bhavan, the party's state headquarters here.

Gandhi, who came here to participate in the inaugural function of the new assembly complex, stepped into the party headquarters enroute to the function venue.

She was received by state party president K.V. Thankabalu and other senior leaders.

According to party officials, Gandhi enquired about the progress of the elections for the Youth Congress in the state.
