Bikaner university is still has not much impotency in state government'eyes , and the result is that this university has not sufficient posts while the numbers of students have increased more then 10 lacks. At the moment university is given only 34 posts which are very minimal for the university. Bikaner university staff holds last footboard position in compare to any other university.

Even after this shortage state government is neither giving economic support nor permission to fill up the vacant posts. Financial department is not showing any green signal to fill up the posts that have already been accepted. If we compare between Rajasthan University, Meharsi Dayanand University and Bikaner University then  Bikaner University has third position as far as matter of staff is concerned whereas is comes at the first in numbers of students.
So there is a much shortage of staff and University has to face lots of problems in operating its  works.

Before five years ago when Bikaner University came in position that time only post of vice chancellor had accepted and registrant post was given to RAS .at last permission was given for the 52 posts but financial department gave permission only for 20 posts.
Three years have passed but still there is no mind to fill up all other seats. In this situation BKN University has to keep other employees on contract base but there is lots of difference between regular and contract base employee. So University is facing lots of difficulties in their work.

BIkaner University's area has spread at Hanumanghar, Churu, Shri Ganganagar, Bikaner but because of shortage of staff Bikaner University has to look at Dungar College'staff.

It is a very cheap behaving with Bikaner University in educational matter there is still no legal permission to fill the vacant posts. In the shortage of staff the University is not getting help of UGC. SO in the last we can say that misfortune never comes alone.
