London, November 13 Johnny Depp has reportedly offered help to Nicholas Cage to come out of the financial trouble he is caught in over a 3.5million pound tax bill.

The 'Pirates of the Caribbean' star is apparently grateful to the 'Con Air' actor for helping him start off his career and intends to return the favor by giving him "whatever he needs" to help his cash crisis.

"Johnny called Nic and basically told him not to worry and he'd help him and sort everything out," the Daily Express quoted a pal as saying.

The pal added: "Johnny feels he owes his career to Nic and now wants to repay him - if Nic agrees. Johnny has never forgotten what Nic did for him."

Depp had apparently landed his first movie role in 'A Nightmare On Elm Street' through Cage's reference.
