Jennifer Hudson to sing 'American National Anthem' at SuperBowl

Washington, Jan 14 Singer Jennifer Hudson is scheduled to make a triumphant return to the spotlight by singing the American National Anthem at Super Bowl XLIII in Tampa, Florida next month.

The 27-year-old star went into hiding following the brutal murders of her mother, brother and nephew in October last year.

According to reports, Hudson was will also be performing at Barack Obama's inauguration in Washington, D.C. next week (20Jan09), reports Contactmusic.

However, the rumours were shot down by her publicist.

Meanwhile, a murder indictment has been issued against Jennifer Hudson's brother-in-law, the main suspect behind the family murders of the actress.

William Balfour had been arrested on charges of first-degree killings of the singer's mother, brother and his 7-year-old stepson on December 1. (ANI)
