New Delhi, The Delhi’s leading Social organization ‘Rajasthan Ratnakar’ organized the “Haryali Teej Festival 2009” on Sunday evening at Carnival Resort, Alipur GT Karnal Road in Delhi. Union Minister of Sate for Woman and Child Development Smt. Krishna Tirath was the chief guest of the event.

Dr.Rajendra Gupta, the organization’s Chairman told that on this occasion various artists have given their attractive dance performances on the folk songs of Rajasthan-Haryana-Gujarat-Maharashtra based on ‘Haryali Teej Festival’. Specially, the circular dance associated with Shri Krishna’s legend was the centre of attraction.

He told that the ‘Women’s Committee’ of the organization organized various competitions on this occasion like ‘Mehendi Bhare Haath’, ‘Teej Queen’, ‘Shreshth Paaramparik Veshbhusha Mein Yugal’, etc.

On this occasion numerous attractive stalls related to Rajasthan’s dress code, mehendi, readymade garments, bangles & cosmetics were placed and the ladies enjoyed the monsoon swings.
