it will b appreciable if bring to the notice of the pay commission that the diploma scale sergeant rank in air force were degraded to the lower pay band i.e 4860-20200 whereas the older one starts at 5000 and subsequently the grade pay is also not at par with the civilian counter parts.By this they have brought the status to lower grade because grade decides various factors such as status, railway travel authority, DA, increment, total pay, and all claims thus the very motto of the commission to every one at par of similar scales is totally defeated.apart from all these any service person cannot takeup these issues to public conforming to service rather than bear with it or dream of some miracle would only can address these intricacies, ram (8/25/2008 12:31:12 AM)

The Grade pay of Artificer 3/2/1 rank of indian navy is fixed to 3400 Rs in Sixth Pay commission is really a demoralising reccommandation of pay commission. It is understood that pay commission has not studied about the rank structure of defence. The Artificer 3/2/1 Rank is equivalent to Chief Petty Pfficer Rank of Y Group in Indian Navy. Before 5th pay commission the pay of Artificer 3/2/1 was more than the Chief petty Officer of Y Group.Even Compared to Civil Cadre, the juniour engineer scale 5000-8000 is graded as 4200 but Artificer 3/2/1 having scale 5120-7120 is graded as 3400 Rs. This means that Sixth Pay commission thinks that Artificer 3/2/1 is not a supervisory Staff. If it is like that then it will demoralise the all persons holding this rank.tne resposbility they are holding in which type of condition no body can think on the chair .highly dengerous at sea and very difficult in harbour to maintain operational capabality of different weapnos,sensors and machinory .actually they are the beck bone of indian navy , but they are not getting pay atleast equal to junior engineer of any organisition even they are equal in qualification when selected and more so as a front line war ship warriour our pay should be more than our civil counter or at least equal to them if center govt. can not pay according to there capability than should not play with technical force of nation and start to recrute illitrete people.

Strength of our nation stands on the feet of our courageous Jawans, who constitute almost 90% of the total defence forces. But who represents those 90% PBORs ? Who cares for their welfare ? Who voices their sentiments ? It is unform for distant viewers, but difference persists in indifference, when looked at close proximity. This is what have been observed and has been come into light in the face of various pay commission reports. Since no one represents men in uniform, they have been neglected again and again. Their hardships have not been taken into account. As a matter of testimony, the Scale of Pay of officers has been hiked more than 35% since different Pay Commission Reports. However, the Pay Scale of men has been confined to 30% only. Apart from that, officers have been paid with lucrative rank pay, which carry DA, whereas PBOR holds thankless/payless rank. Similarly officers are provided with ration and money in lieu of cloth. Whereas PBORs get money in lieu of ration and clothe. PBOR authorized for marriage to a spinster, unlike officer who authorized to marry on virgin. Why so discrimination in uniform ? Who voices for the millions of men in uniform ? Thanks to Parliamentarian of our nation, who finally rose to the occasion to lift Batmanship in Army after 61 years of independence. It is not clear from the Govt letter dt 11.11.08 whether this aspect was taken into consideration to arrive at the revised consolidated pension to pre-1996 retired armed force personnel. I, Capt. C S Varma [ SS – 19777] was commissioned in the Short Service Commission on 06August, 1967 and had served as Captain in the Corps of EME. Up to 29-01-1977.



I was initially enrolled in the INDIAN AIR FORCE on 8-5-58, as Aircraft Apprentice.

for a period of Four Yrs. I had Served Indian Air Force as CORPORAL, Instrument-I, from 05-05-1962 to 05-08-1967. Then was Commissioned on 06-08-1967, in the Indian Army. I took Retirement and was release from the Indian Army on 29-01-1977



My Other Rank Service was of 5Yrs and 92 Days [05-05-62 to 05-08-67] as Corporal.

Plus my Commissioned Service was of 9 Yrs 184 Days [ 06-08-67 to 29-01-77].

Last Rank was CAPTAIN, which I held for about 7 Yrs.



Thus my Qualifying service as Officer for Pension [ Calculated on the basis of 2/3 rd Service of Other Rank as Qualifying service as Officer + Officers service] works out to 13 Yrs of Qualifying Service as Officer for Pension purposes.



My Pension C D A is C D A [ Pension] Allahabad, and my Air Force Records are with Air Force Record Office, New Delhi -10.



Govt of India above Letter was issued on 11-11-2008, and was supposed to be applicable for Grant of Pension from 01-01-2006.



Please let me know how much is my Basic pension Fixed as per Annexure-II of the said Govt Letter and has it been Implemented along with Revision by your branch ?? .



What I observe is, that As per Annex-II, My Basic pension Pre-2006 is Rs 9234 for an Officer, Captain with 13Yrs service [ as per Annexure-II –copy enclosed].



Also Similarly, according to the Table of Revised Pension from 1-1-2006 onwards [ for the Captain with 13 Yrs of Service Basic pension Rs 9234 pre 2006 ] would now be Revised Pension of Rs 20870 plus Difference from time to time as given in the Table Page No 54 of 80 . This is what I could gather and understand.

I am HFL C.L Singh my services Number is 259444(L) i have retirted on 28th feb 2001.As on today i am getting less then MWO of Y group Ret. in June 2001.
Please intimate my basis pay. Please remove this anamoly in the pension fixation and intimate actuall pension.

I am Honorary/ naib/sub retired from Army in june 1995.When i was granted honorary rank there was aincrease of Rs.100/-.But after 6th pay comision the increased amount has lost.Now pension scale is not clear.The bank fm where i draw pension don,t know and CDA pension is out of reach. i am Retired from indian army at the rank of Naik from 1986
that time my Pension was 461 rupees and now my pension is
8211 rupees now i want to clarify about new pension scale of Naik rank after 6th pay commission under group D

I was Sr. Accountant in Indian Postal Deppt. & appeared in Telecom. JAO examination & passed & got the fresh appointment in Telecom. after retiring from Postal Deptt. with all pensionary benefit, I taken 300 days leave encashment in Postal, Now my EL credit in Telecom. is 100 days whether I entitle to receive encashment from Telecom as I retired in May 2011 but telecom. deptt says that once you have avail the full encashment in Postal Department, A.
