Spice Girls planning blockbuster stage musical?

London, Oct 15 Spice Girls are set to bring their story onstage, it has emerged.

According to sources, the musical is being billed as a two-hour "pop extravaganza" tracking the rise of the band.

Geri Halliwell a.k.a. Ginger Spice will be producing it while the other four back the project.

Melanie Brown, Melanie Chisholm, Emma Bunton and Victoria Beckham will also help select the actresses playing them.

"The project is Geri's baby really but all the girls are backing it," the Mirror quoted a source as saying.

"The idea is for five relatively unknown actresses to take the parts and hopefully the girls will each have a say in who is cast," the source added. (ANI)
