London, Oct 15 Brit actress Emma Thompson has given out tips on how one can make a marriage work successfully.

Thompson, 50, who divorced Kenneth Branagh in 1995 and later married Greg Wise, doled out tips on how to keep the relationship going.

"Be alert, be appreciative and work hard," the Telegraph quoted her as saying.

"There is no secret, but never allow yourself to just trundle along - that is when problems start.

"Remember to go out for dinner if you haven't seen each other all eek and make regular dates," she added. (ANI)
