New Delhi, March 16 (IANS) Mumbai Indians captain Sachin Tendulkar is not wary of the Ferozeshah Kotla wicket which will be hosting its first match since it was slapped with a suspension last year by the International Cricket Council (ICC) for being 'dangerous'.

Wednesday's Indian Premier League (IPL) contest between Mumbai Indians and Delhi Daredevils will be the first major game to be played here since the Dec 27 ODI between India and Sri Lanka, which was called off after 23.3 overs because the strip was deemed 'unfit' for playing.

On Tuesday, Tendulkar had a good long look at the wicket and seemed happy with it.

'It is a good track. A typical Delhi track bare of grass. At this moment it looks very good track to play on,' he said.

Asked if his team's four-run win over 2008 champions Rajasthan Royals in their last match has boosted their confidence, Tendulkar said: 'When you win close matches, it certainly boosts the confidence of the players. The team is riding high after the victory.'

Tendulkar also said that IPL has given him a good opportunity to work with youngsters.

'Like any other senior player in the team, I am always willing to help youngsters. I feel that the inputs of younger players are also important. I have learnt a lot from them. The more you talk with them, the more you learn,' he said.

Asked whether the rebel Indian Cricket League (ICL) players have settled down, Tendulkar said: 'We have lot of good and promising players. They have talent and I am pretty comfortable having them in my team.'

Tendulkar also pointed out that momentum will be key factor against Daredevils.

'Momentum is the key factor. There is not much to think in a 20-over game. In fact, in every game momentum will count,' he said.

Tendulkar also said that bowling was not a concern for Mumbai Indians. Mumbai's bowling attack came under fire in the match against Rajasthan Royals when Yusuf Pathan scored a 37-ball century.

'Bowling is a not a concern for us. In the last match, Harbhajan couldn't bowl his quota of four overs because he was injured. In a Twenty20 match, four overs is a lot. But it was good to see someone (like Yusuf) bat in such a way in Twenty20,' he said.
