Jolie, Pitt compete in 2009 Teen Choice Awards

Washington, June 16 Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt are up against each other in the category of "Choice Celebrity Activist" at 2009 Teen Choice Awards.

The duo has also picked up nominations in "Choice Movie Actress: Drama" for Changeling and "Choice Movie Star: Drama for Curious Case of Benjamin Button, reports Us magazine.

Pitt is competing with the likes of Hugh Jackman (Australia); Dev Patel (Slumdog Millionaire); Robert Pattinson (Twilight) and Channing Tatum (Fighting).

And Jolie faces off against Nicole Kidman (Australia), Beyonce (Obsessed), Freida Pinto (Slumdog Millionaire) and Kristen Stewart (Twilight).

However, vampire love story Twilight is leading the nomination list with 12 nods, while High School Musical: Senior Year and its cast, Miley Cyrus and Gossip Girl have scored 10 nominations each. (ANI)
