London, November 16 'Twilight' star Robert Pattinson has revealed that he pretended to watch intelligent films in order to impress his co-actor Kristen Stewart.

"I thought to myself, because she's so serious, I've got to be really serious," the Daily Star quoted him as saying.

He added: "I felt like an idiot just following her around saying, 'You really should read some Zola, and there's this amazing Truffaut movie'.

"She started calling me on things. She would ask, 'Have you actually watched this movie? What's it about?'"

Meanwhile, the vampire series' director Catherine Hardwicke has confirmed that Pattinson and Stewart are in a relationship. (ANI)
