London, Nov 16 Pop singer Ashlee Simpson has defended her big sister Jessica's weight gain.

Ashlee, 25, who is married to singer Pete Wentz, slammed critics for ridiculing Jessica's figure.

"It's disgusting that people would say those things," the Daily Express quoted her as telling Women's Health magazine.

"My sister has an incredible body. I feel sorry for anyone who would judge her," she added.

Fox media had recently apologised for airing a cartoon mocking Jessica's weight. (ANI)
