Gaya (Bihar), Nov 16 To keep her late son's memory alive, a Japanese woman has raised a memorial showcasing Japanese culture.

Noriko Suruie has built the memorial in memory of her son Kutusumi Suruie, who died in an accident in Japan.

She has been putting up in India for the past 12 years. She brought along her son's belongings, including his medals, trophies, superb Japanese possessions, clothes, sports-gear, books, etc and raised a museum in order to keep the memories of her son fresh in her mind.

" It's my son's puja (holy ceremony). My son died on 14th November. But in India, it is Happy Birthday (Jawaharlal Nehru). I have come to Gaya in search of peace and thus all Indians should visit Bodh Gaya. My son was a follower of Buddha," said Noriko.

Kutusumi Suruie was a follower of Lord Buddha. Noriko Suruie brought all their belongings here so that the soul of her adored son rests in harmony. (ANI)
