New Delhi, Nov 16 (IANS) A Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) constable allegedly committed suicide in Tughlakabad area of south Delhi Monday evening by shooting himself from his own weapon, police said.

'The incident took place around 8:30 p.m. Monday. The trooper, Rajbir was posted at Tughlakabad container depot in south Delhi and was on duty at the time of incident. He shot himself with his official weapon,' a CISF official said.

Rajbir was in his mid-thirties and was a native of Haryana. He is survived by his wife and two children, the CISF official added.

The reason behind the incident is not established as yet. Police are investigating, the official added.
