London, May 17 (ANI): Sarah Jessica Parker has dismissed reports of a rift with her co-stars in the 'Sex And The City' film.

Parker's denial comes after rumours started making rounds that the 43-year-old actress does not speak with Kim Cattrall and both of them try their best to avoid each other.

However, in an interview on BBC One's 'Friday Night With Jonathan Ross', the actress, who plays Carrie Bradshaw, laughed off all rumours, saying that she "loved those women".

"I wouldn't have wanted to do it with anyone else. We are family, there would be no reason to do it otherwise. I'm so proud of the work the other ladies have done, I think they're marvellous," BBC quoted Parker, as saying.

The word was spread that Cattrall, who plays Samantha Jones in the show, turned down to sit through the screening of the premiere in London's Leicester Square.

It was also being said that the alleged rift between the stars of the film was due to differing amounts of money they were paid for the film.

However, this has been rubbished by the stars' publicists, who insisted that there wasn't any disagreement between them and all the stars got along quite well.

Though the film is all set to hit UK theatres on May 28, Parker revealed that the film version was very nearly never made.

"There was no script, there was an idea. Two years ago I had this instinct we should revisit the idea. Our audience grew after we went off-air so the audience created the opportunity," she said. (ANI)
