London, June 17 Late 'Beatle' George Harrison's unheard songs are finally set for release. According to insiders, George's musician pal Jeff Lynne will be working on the unheard ditties composed by Harrison during the last 15 years of his life. "George half-finished loads of songs and often simply forgot about them. He amassed an enormous amount of material in the last few years of his life and it's likely there could be another album's worth," the Daily Express quoted a source as saying. The source added: "Jeff and George were very close and worked together a lot in the later period of George's life. It's felt that he's the right man to work on this material. They could have a real gem on their hands." Lynne is best known for his band the Electric Light Orchestra, and appeared alongside Harrison in the late Eighties supergroup The Traveling Wilburys. Reports of Lynne's potential involvement comes after the release of a new George compilation, 'Let It Roll', which features Harrison's best known songs including 'My Sweet Lord' and 'Got My Mind Set On You'. Even George's widow Olivia recently revealed that she was thinking of what to do with her late husband's unheard compositions. "There were lots of unfinished tunes. Some are closer to completion than others and with those I would ask for some help," she said. (ANI)
