Kuala Lumpur, Nov. 17 A High Court in Malaysia has ordered Malaysian Indian United Party (MIUP) president S. Nallakaruppan to provide evidence regarding his claim that Anwar Ibrahim had received 60 million ringgits from him and gaming company Magnum Corp Bhd.

Justice Zabariah Yusof rejected Nallakaruppan's appeal to overturn an order by the High Court's assistant registrar on Aug 28 granting Anwar's application to be given the details.

Zabariah gave 14 days to Nallakaruppan to furnish Anwar with the details on when was the money given and where was it given.

Anwar, who is the Opposition leader, filed a 50 million suit against Nallakaruppan over his article in which he had claimed that Anwar received 60million ringgits.

Anwar claimed that Nallakaruppan had made a false allegation about him in the article. (ANI)
