Islamabad, June 19 Worried by the recent terror strikes in Pakistan in which some its officials were also killed, the United Nations (UN) has beefed up the security of its staff and offices across the country. The UN has increased the security level to grade three, The News reports. According to sources, the UN has asked the family members of foreign staff stationed in Pakistan to leave the country, and has directed the officials to refrain from venturing out without security. The UN staff have also been directed to limit their activities and movements in the country. The fresh directions comes days after 19 people were killed including two U.N. workers, a Russian man and Fillipino woman, in a suicide blast at the Pearl Continental Hotel in Peshawar. (ANI)
