Lahore, Aug 19 (ANI): Sources close to PPP Co-chairman Asif Ali Zardari have said that he has decided not to bay for former President Pervez Musharraf's blood and close the Musharraf chapter. They said that Zardari was keen on letting "bygones be bygones" and "getting on" with grappling with the real issues facing the nation and people of Pakistan instead of harping about the fate of the former president. "Zardari is not interested in the politics of revenge and is not baying for Musharraf's blood like some Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz leaders and partisan mediamen. He wants this chapter to be closed," the Daily Times quoted the sources as saying. This is the first indication that Musharraf had entered into a deal with the PPP-led coalition government that after he stepped down, the Government would not initiate any legal proceedings against him, instead, provide him with foolproof security.
