Mexican youth want more cultural, education exchange programme with India

Guadalajara (Mexico) Apr 20 (ANI): A large number of Mexican youth have expressed their desire to know more about India and want to study in Indian universities, and said that more number of cultural and education exchange rogramme between the two countries would help in fulfilling their aspiration.

Anna Paula, a Mexican student of International studies, said that India and Mexico should organize seminars and shows, which would both the countries to come closer.

Maria, another Mexican student, said that by organising cultural exchange programme both the countries would come to know more about each other.

Some Mexican youth feel that pursuing educational courses in Indian universities would help them in shaping their future in better way.

Pertila, a Mexican girl, said that Indian universities would be beneficial for the Mexican youth.

It is believed that the visit of President Pratibha Patil to Mexico has increased the curiosity among the young people of Mexico to know more about India and its people.

President Patil during her visit reiterated the need for people to people meeting through exchange programs between India and Mexico.

Patil has invited the Mexican youths in the field of music, arts, textiles, cinema, education, fashion and tourism to India for strengthening the bonds between the wo nations. (ANI)
