London, Sep 20 England football manager Fabio Capello and his wife Laura were recently spotted sunbathing in mud at a beach in Southern Italy.

The mud, found around a few thermal lakes, is believed to be rich in volcanic minerals. But on the other side when the wind gets up the rotten-eggs stink of sulphur can make life hell.

"Fabio and Laura are regular visitors to this part of Italy and he's certainly in amazing shape for his age, so it must be doing him some good. It also looked like he had a good time with Laura, they were very happy together," the News of the World quoted an onlooker, as saying.

"You can hardly see it, but underneath it all, Laura's bikini is white. Eventually they went into the water to wash all the mud off and just enjoyed the sun," the source added.

The couple was taking a break following England's eighth consecutive win in World Cup qualifiers, which has secured a place for the squad at the 2010 finals in South Africa.

England now has two more qualifiers to play and their next challenge is against the Ukraine on October 10. (ANI)
