New Delhi, July 21 (ANI): One of the world's most stylish women pop star Gwen Stefani is getting set to design the famous ruby shoes worn by Dorothy in the Wizard of Oz.

The 'No Doubt' hitmaker, who already has her own fashion line L.A.M.B., is one of the 19 designers who have been chosen by Warner Bros to reinterpret the ruby shoes.

Apparently Consumer Products and Swarowski Elements have decided to create a newer version of the famous Dorothy's magical ruby shoes to pay tribute to the classic movie on its 70th anniversary next year, reports China Daily.

The 19 pairs of shoes designed by world renowned fashion icons Alberta Ferretti, Christian Louboutin, Diane von Furstenberg, Jimmy Choo, Manolo Blahnik, Moschino, Oscar de la Renta and rocker Gwen Stefani will first be unveiled at New York department Saks Fifth Avenue after which the collection will be displayed at New York fashion week and finally after touring all over USA the collection will be auctioned off, with proceeds going to the Elizabeth Glaser Pediatric AIDS Foundation.
