London, Dec 21 (IANS) Actress Kate Hudson, who has just split from baseball star Alex Rodriguez, threw a massive Christmas bash for family and friends.

Rather than dwelling on her split, which happened just days ago, the actress opened up her vast Los Angeles abode to a star-studded crowd of festive revellers, reported thesun.co.uk

Her mother Goldie Hawn and long-term partner Kurt Russell were among the guests.
