London, Nov. 22 The Conservative party is ahead of the Labours just by six points, according to a new poll.

It has been the narrowest gap reported by a poll this year between the David Cameron-led Tories and British Prime Minister Gordon Brown's Labour party.

The Liberal Democrats were on 17 per cent in the Ipsos MORI survey.
